Vi fick hj\u00e4lp av Iveta n\u00e4r v\u00e5r dotter Elin f\u00f6ddes. Det k\u00e4ndes tryggt att ha Ivetas hj\u00e4lp under f\u00f6rlossningen. Jag uppskattade det framf\u00f6rallt under tiden hemma d\u00e5 jag kunde f\u00e5 tips p\u00e5 konkreta saker att hj\u00e4lpa till med som partner.<\/p>\n
Vi tr\u00e4ffade Iveta 1 g\u00e5ng innan vi best\u00e4mde oss f\u00f6r att ha Doula, sedan 1 g\u00e5ng till f\u00f6re f\u00f6rlossningen, n\u00e4r v\u00e4rkarna startade kom hon och hj\u00e4lpte oss hemma i v\u00e5r l\u00e4genhet och f\u00f6ljde sen med till f\u00f6rlossningen och var med under hela tiden. En tid efter f\u00f6rlossningen tr\u00e4ffades vi igen och Iveta ber\u00e4ttade om allt utifr\u00e5n sina anteckningar. Det var fint att f\u00e5 det \u00e5terber\u00e4ttat, det var flera delar som jag inte kom ih\u00e5g s\u00e5 det hj\u00e4lpte mig att beh\u00e5lla m\u00e5nga fina minnen fr\u00e5n f\u00f6rlossningen.<\/p>\n
Jag rekommenderar verkligen att ha med en Doula i f\u00f6rlossningsarbetet och speciellt Iveta. Det tog bort mycket oro kring om vi gjorde r\u00e4tt hemma och gissningar n\u00e4r det var dags att \u00e5ka in till BB.<\/p>\n

In 2019 I was expecting my first baby. Everything was new and I was stressed by the information overflow about pregnancy and childbirth. At the time I had no friends or family who had recently gone through pregrancy and I felt a bit lost. Still, I was determined to learn and get all the possible help.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, I saw a post on Facebook about doulas and what their role is. I immediately got in touch with Iveta, who published the post, and we had an interesting chat about how doulas can help in childbirth. I got encouraged by Iveta’s calm, peaceful and empathic attitude and I felt like we were a match. Moreover, I was convinced that a smooth childbirth with proper support leads to good mental state afterwards and healthy relationships with your growing family.<\/p>\n
With my partner, we discussed all the benefits and couldn’t point out any drawbacks for choosing a doula and in particular Iveta, so we went for it.<\/p>\n
Apart from the childbirth itself, we also had a meeting a couple of weeks before to go through our expectations and uncertainties. I was very happy to have this calm and more informal chat because I had felt that my midwife never had enough time to talk with me about the differed aspects of birth. The focus was always on the medical procedures, not on my general wellbeing.<\/p>\n
I was very pleased with the close contact I got with Iveta and I feel like I gained a person I can always call and chat on all occasions. She was the first person I called to say I got my contractions, even though it was in the middle of the night.<\/p>\n
When we arrived at the hospital, she was already waiting for us. I appreciate all the small details she thought about, like making the hospital room cosy, putting on candles and changing the light. Those six labour hours went by so fast with Iveta’s help. She encouraged me to be active, made me change positions and showed how my partner could help and get involved. When I look back, I can’t imagine my childbirth without her support. We even got compliments from the hospital team saying that me, my partner and Iveta worked together like an experienced team.<\/p>\n
I’m grateful to Iveta for everything she did and if another family member will be on its way, she will certainly be my first contact!<\/p>\n

Vi kan varmt rekommendera Iveta som doula. Vi best\u00e4mde oss r\u00e4tt tidigt f\u00f6r att ha en doula och letade runt tills vi fann Iveta, som vi k\u00e4nde ett starkt f\u00f6rtroende f\u00f6r redan fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan. Det b\u00f6rjade med att Iveta kom hem till oss ett par g\u00e5nger, vilken k\u00e4ndes v\u00e4ldigt tryggt. V\u00e5r f\u00f6rlossning h\u00f6ll p\u00e5 i fem dagar och var v\u00e4ldigt l\u00e5ngdragen. Under den h\u00e4r tiden k\u00e4ndes det oerh\u00f6rt tryggt att ha Iveta d\u00e4r som sov ett par n\u00e4tter p\u00e5 v\u00e5r soffa och var ett enormt st\u00f6d. F\u00f6rlossningen satte ig\u00e5ng och stannade av, \u00e4ven n\u00e4r vi var p\u00e5 sjukhuset och jag och Iveta dansade loss p\u00e5 BB f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka s\u00e4tta ig\u00e5ng allt. Iveta hade \u00e4ven med sig en massa brands\u00e4kra ljus till oss, s\u00e5 att jag och Martin kunde sl\u00e4cka ner och f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka \u00e5terh\u00e4mta oss lite fr\u00e5n det l\u00e5ngdragna v\u00e4rkarbetet. Mot slutfasen s\u00e5 var Iveta och Martin d\u00e4r vid huvud\u00e4ndan och coachade mig genom andningen. Efter\u00e5t stannade Iveta kvar lite och vi drack bubbel och firade v\u00e5r dotters f\u00f6delse och v\u00e5rt teamwork. Iveta var \u00e4ven ett st\u00f6d f\u00f6r att se till att amningen kom ig\u00e5ng som den skulle. Sedan tillbringade vi tre dagar p\u00e5 BB-hotell f\u00f6r att landa lite i v\u00e5r nya familj och n\u00e4r vi v\u00e4l kom hem igen s\u00e5 kom Iveta och bes\u00f6kte oss efter en vecka, f\u00f6r att ses och prata igenom hela upplevelsen.<\/p>\n
Det var en oerh\u00f6rd trygghet att ha Iveta med oss p\u00e5 den h\u00e4r resan. Martin h\u00e5ller med om att det var en enorm trygghet f\u00f6r honom, som partner, att ha Iveta d\u00e4r. Vi k\u00e4nner b\u00e5da att det var det b\u00e4sta beslutet n\u00e5gonsin och om ni funderar p\u00e5 att ha en doula s\u00e5 kan jag verkligen rekommendera Iveta, som \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt varm, lyh\u00f6rd och ink\u00e4nnande. Hon fanns alltid d\u00e4r och st\u00f6ttade n\u00e4r vi beh\u00f6vde henne samtidigt som jag och Martin alltid k\u00e4nde att vi fick v\u00e5rt utrymme – bara vi – n\u00e4r vi ville. <\/p>\n

During pregnancy in 2018 I had red different birth stories, heard a lot from my close friends and started to think about mine which was soon to come. It felt that I might need some help, not medically as I was sure Swedish health care is one of the best in the world but help in understanding what\u2019s going on if I get lost in all those emotions, if something goes wrong and quick decisions needs to be taken or if I don\u2019t understand what\u2019s needed from me right that moment. Even if I knew that my husband will be the best help, I thought we, and me, need someone else there with rational thinking.<\/p>\n
It was like someone up there heard me and soon after I red Ivetas post on Facebook group about her being a doula I contacted her. I knew a bit what doula is, but I didn\u2019t know Iveta. She suggested to meet for a coffee first. All of us had a \u201cfika\u201d in Stockholm city where we touched different topics. Same minute after leaving caf\u00e9 me and my husband looked at each and without saying we understood that Iveta is what we need in our soon to come journey. <\/p>\n
We met Iveta once more before The Day and what we liked best is that she gave us theoretical information on childbirth, practical advices during labour but also talked with us about emotions. I still remember her question: how do you imagine your child\u2019s birth? At that moment it struck me\u2026. I never did. I did, but never in details so I could explain to someone else. I went quiet (or answered something stupid) and she navigated me by asking me questions which helped me put it in words. Iveta gave me both push and confidence to think, imagine and forthfill my child\u2019s birth. And I did.<\/p>\n
Contractions started in the middle of night. We contacted Iveta early in the morning before going to hospital. She came directly. She was with us the whole, long but beautiful day and baby boy came later that day.<\/p>\n
During labour Iveta supported not only me but also my husband by giving small advices on how to help me which I think was not less important. He was able to go through this unique experience together with me but also support his wife. Iveta understood quite fast my micro signs \u201cup\u201d, \u201cno\u201d, \u201cmore…more\u201d, \u201cstop, now\u201d and \u201cFor God sake when will this end!\u201d and to hear something like \u201cone more, just one more push and you will soon see your baby!\u201d was all I needed to hear. And I am not the emotional type of people.<\/p>\n
Why would you choose Iveta? I know you can handle it on your own, I know your husband will be there for you 100% but Iveta can be your safety net. Not only you but also for your husband and will do her 110% for you both to have the most amazing experience to meet your baby. Iveta is very calm, rational, supportive, friendly and steady in her communication. She has great language skills and she\u2019s truly passionate about doula essence. <\/p>\n
If we are lucky enough to have more children, I have no doubt Iveta will be there to support us during the whole amazing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
